Vienna, January, 10^th 2006. Telekom Austria automated the customer communication process with a new document output management solution.  Telekom Austria  can now contact their customers individually via any output channel. (letters, facsimiles, email or SMS) The new solution reduces the paper flood as well as the processing costs.

The solution was built around ”Document System Solution“ (DSS) one of the Danet Group’s product offerings. DSS provides the functionality for design, generation and distribution of documents.  The application is based on a modular design making it extremely flexible allowing it to be integrated within the existing IT infrastructure saving time and cost.

Customer Documents with data from different source systems can now be generated centrally. A document layout tool is used to define different communication media, as letters, facsimiles, eMail or SMS. “By selecting a worldwide leading technology and with the competence of the system integrator Danet, the project was implemented professionally. The system is an important contribution for the remodelling of our IT infrastructure” stated Helmut Leopold, leader of the platform and technology management at Telekom Austria.

The next step is the enhancement of additional functionality and the replacement of current legacy systems by Danet Austria and Telekom Austria.
