The development of software systems nowadays places multi-faceted requirements on providers in the telecoms, media and automobile industries. Time-to-market reduces continuously. Systems, modules, system components as well as sub-systems must nevertheless be stable, reliable and efficient. Software must therefore be tested end-to-end. Automated testing saves time and money and helps to assure better usability.
Danet offers a wide range of test automation services – from consulting, training, project support, the supply of test cases and test tools through to complete, automated test solutions. In this process we focus on the TTCN-3-Toolbox, a powerful test tool based on the standardised programming language TTCN-3 (Test and Test Control Notation).
Danet uses both its own and third party test components to produce complete, customised automated test solutions. These solutions are deployed in test laboratories, for instance those of network operators or infrastructure suppliers.
Danet’s test automation software SoftRobotTM tests the performance of complete systems by use of end devices, such as mobile phones, smartphones, PDAs, BlackBerry handhelds or set-top boxes. Thus, SoftRobotTM allows realistic testing of the service and content quality. Significant quality information and availability of services can be archived in form of data and images and therefore enables the documentation of the agreed SLAs.
