Jacques Bentz

Jacques Bentz, born 1941, is chief executive officer of Tecnet Participations and chairman of the board of the Danet Group. He has further supervisory board mandates with Ipanema Technologies, Tecnet Participations, Linedata Services, TDF (Télévision de France), Group Steria sca and Consulting Steria-Mummert.

He has 35 years of experience as manager in the IT market. He founded the soft­ware company Tecsi in Paris. During his career he also filled the position of chief executive officer of Datel and chairman of the board of the software company Tecsi and GSI.

Jacques Bentz studied engineering at the École Polytechnique in Paris and is a holder of the medal of the Legion d'Honneur.

Jürgen Maidl

Jürgen Maidl, born 1960, heads up the Department Organization / Inhouse Consul­ting of the BMW group. With that he is responsible, within the framework of the higher-level overall interest, for the development of organizational solutions, as well as systematic changes, of the company process and structure within the BMW group.

He has been with the BMW Group since 1998 and at the beginning was respon­sible for central information technology. Before this he was active for eleven years in the manufacturing sector with debis Systemhaus, which he has managed for the past three years. He began his professional career with Capgemini Germany.

Jürgen Maidl studied information technology in the electrical engineering specialist department at the Ulm Technical College.

Charles Koontz

Charles Koontz, born 1961, is general manager of the Information Technology and Network Solutions Group of SAIC, one of the four corporate divisions of the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) Group, San Diego (USA). He is responsible for the sectors involving energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, the Department of Homeland Security, as well as other public institutions.

He has been at SAIC since 2004. Before this he headed up the corporate departments telecommuni­cation, media and network of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Before that he was active in different management and consulting positions with General Electric and Litton Industries Automation Systems. Charles Koontz studied economics and engineering and systems engineering at the Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati.

Pamela J. Bumann

Pamela J. Bumann, born 1957, is Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Director of the Technology Commercialization Department at SAIC. Pam Bumann supports the M&A Department in international acquisitions and occasional divestitures.

She has been active in SAIC‘s Corporate Finance for 17 years and has served in a number of financial and transaction deals. Prior to joining SAIC, Pam Bumann worked for Mercy Services Corporation, the outpatient-services development arm for Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Before that, she worked in Duesseldorf, Germany for Cartoon GmbH, a women's fashion company.

Pam Bumann received the Master's in Business Administration from Boston College. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Joachim Peckert

Dr. Joachim Peckert, born 1957, has been leader “Legal Affairs Beteiligungen National” of Deutsche Telekom AG since January 2007. This involves all national involvements of the group.

He has been working for Deutsche Telekom since 1997. From 2000 to 2006, he held the position of Leader Equity Interest Management. From 1997 to 2000, he was Leader Regulation Management. Prior to this, he had worked in several leading positions with BASF-Wintershall and Commerzbank. He started his career as a postdoctoral researcher at the chair of trading and corporate law at the University of Göttingen.

Dr. Joachim Peckert studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Göttingen. At Göttingen, he also received his doctor's degree.

Werner Sülzer

Werner Sülzer, born in 1946, is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NCR Holding GmbH.  Prior to that, he was CEO Vice President and Executive Managing Director of NCR Corporation in Dayton, Ohio, and a member of the global management team.

He joined the telecom company AT&T in 1995, initially as President of AT&T Germany Holding GmbH, before taking on responsibility for NCR GmbH.  In 1997, he was appointed VP for EMEA, and thereby assumed responsibility for the business of NCR Teradata in Europe, The Middle East and Africa.  He began his career in 1970 with the French-American computer manufacturer Bull (Honeywell), and from 1992 to 1995, he was CEO of Olivetti GmbH.

He is an honorary delegate of the American Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt, and a Committee Member of BITKOM in Berlin.  In addition, he is a member of the Economic Council in Berlin and Economic Adviser to the State Government of Thüringen.

Werner Sülzer studied Economics in Cologne, specialising in Foreign Trade.
