Dr. Reiner Nickel, born 1955, has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danet GmbH since June 2005.
Since 1985 he has been active for Danet GmbH, initially as project manager and systems analyst. From 1989 to 2002 he occupied various management positions, among others, he was company manager of the Danet Internet Solutions, Stuttgart. In 2002 he was appointed company manager of Danet GmbH while also managing the business field communication solutions at the same time.
Dr. Reiner Nickel studied information technology at the Tech. University in Darmstadt. There he also began his professional career as a scientific employee. He graduated in 1985 with distinction as Dr.-Ingenieur.
Dr. Burkhard Austermuehl, born 1951, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has been responsible for the sectors involving finance, personnel, administration, controlling and law since August 2004. Furthermore, he is company manager of Danet Consult GmbH.
As early as 1982 he worked at Danet and was a leading figure in the company development. Since 1997 he has been a member of the company management as a senior officer.
Dr. Burkhard Austermuehl is a graduate information scientist. He was active as a scientific employee in the information technology specialist department of the Tech. University in Darmstadt and graduated in 1983 with distinction as Dr.-Ingenieur.
Jürgen Hatzipantelis, born 1961, has been Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Danet GmbH since November 2007. In this position, he is responsible for sales and marketing.
He joins Danet in November 2007. From 2005 until 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at TietoEnator Deutschland where he was internationally responsible for the Business Unit “R&D Networks and Automotive”. He has played a leading role in the successful integration of S.E.S.A. AG as the central European R&D location for the TietoEnator Group. From 2001 to 2004, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of S.E.S.A., and between 1996 and 2001, he held various management and marketing positions with HP Germany.
Jürgen Hatzipantelis studied information technology at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
Dr. Bernd Kappesser, born 1966, has been a member of the company management of the Danet Group since August 2004. He is active in company management and marketing for the account management.
Since his entry into the company in the year 1997, he has held different responsible positions, among others, in project management and in consulting, as well as in international system solution marketing.
Dr. Bernd Kappesser studied physics at the Tech. University in Darmstadt and graduated in the field of solid-state physics. At the same time he studied business administration at the Fernuniversität Hagen (Open University).
Jordi Vilardell, born 1955, has been responsible for the area of process management of the Danet Group since January 2007. This includes the areas of quality control management and change management, as well as process management.
He has been active at Danet since 1980. Since 1987 he has held different management positions and has been successfully involved in acquisition and heading up large-scale customer projects. Since 2003 he has been a member of the company management as a senior officer.
Jordi Vilardell studied engineering with emphasis on power engineering at UPC Barcelona (Spain). At this university he also taught physics and information technology for several years.
Jürgen Martin, born 1957, has been a member of the company management of the Danet Group since February 2006. As a graduate engineer he is responsible for business development and central marketing.
Jürgen Martin has been active at Danet since 1999. As management consultant, he was responsible, among other things, for the restructuring of the American subsidiary, in addition he was Chief Operating Officers (COO) of the French subsidiary, as well as manager of the Bonn branch office. Before this he was, among other things, manager of Customer Solutions Europe with Global One and senior consultant at Detecon.
Jürgen Martin studied general electrical engineering at Bingen Technical College.
Uwe Wermke, born 1961, has been since June 2005 general manager of Danet Consult GmbH and a member of the company management of the Danet Group. With a master's degree in business administration he heads up the business for independent management and technology consulting.
He has been active at Danet since June 2005. Before this he held various management positions. He was a member of the management at Celerant from 2004 to 2005, from 2002 to 2004 manager of the Duesseldorf subsidiary of EDS, and from 1995 to 2002 company manager of EUTELIS.
Uwe Wermke studied business administration with emphasis on information technology at the University of Cologne.
Jonathan Macfie has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danet GmbH's UK subsidiary Danet Limited since January 2001. Since that time, he has been responsible for the continued development of the U.K. business within the Danet Group, including the marketing and support of group strategic portfolio offerings.
He joined Danet in 2001, when Danet acquired X-Tension, the U.K. based telecommunications Systems Development and Consultancy Company founded by Macfie in 1990. Prior to founding X-Tension, Macfie was Systems Development Director and latterly Managing Director of Telecom ACT, a British Telecom I.T. Solutions subsidiary. Prior to this, he held senior I.T. management positions within the American Express group of companies.
Jonathan Macfie graduated in Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth, U.K.
Ing. Kurt Burger, born 1956, has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danet – Beratung und Softwareentwicklung GmbH in Vienna since June 2001.
He had been working for Danet GmbH as authorized signatory since 2000. In addition, he was responsible for setting up the Vienna subsidiary. Consequently, he has been managing director of the Vienna subsidiary since 2001. Prior to this, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation Wien (the later Compaq Austria) where he was Leader Sales and Distribution Telecom.
Ing. Kurt Burger graduated from a higher technical college and studied computer sciences.
